KEY Community Supports and Community Lifestyles recently held theirÂ eighth annual SVQ awards presentation at their new offices in Glasgow.
Ninety staff gained a range of qualifications including SVQ2 and SVQ3 Health and Social Care, Leadership and Management for Care Services, PDA Supervision and Assessor/Internal Verifier Qualifications during 2012/2013.
Anna Fowlie, SSSC Chief Executive congratulated the candidates for their hard work and success. Anna later commented:
â€śIt was good to visit Key’s lovely new premises and to meet all the staff who had shown so much commitment to their own learning and development. It was especially good to hear from the people who use their services what a difference it makes to have skilled and capable workers supporting them.”
Certificates of achievement were presented by Angus Turner of KEY/Community Lifestyles Management Committees and Malcolm Matheson, KEY/Community Lifestyles Director, this included a special award for KEYâ€™s Dalmuir services in recognition of receiving the Linda McEnhill Award in the category of Outstanding End of Life Support of an Individual.
