Caring for Vulnerable Children online course

During times of austerity and shrinking public services, identifying and caring for vulnerable children has never been more demanding.

celcisIn this free, dynamic and interactive six-week online course, FutureLearn in partnership with the University of Strathclyde and CELCIS will help you explore some of the issues.

What do we mean by vulnerability? You’ll gain an understanding that will challenge your thinking, while considering new approaches that allow chldren to grow and flourish.

First run earlier this year, Caring for Vulnerable Children originally attracted 12,500 participants, it’s back by popular demand.

    interested in taking part in the course on caring for vulnerable children. I currently work as an early years team leader within An additional support needs school. Would this be suitable do you think? How much time per week would I need to allocate to the course? Thanks, Ailidh

    Hi Ailidh and Annie,

    FutureLearn suggests four hours per week for six weeks, however, participants can do it at their own pace.
