Is MySSSC working for you?

Over the last year we’ve gathered feedback from employers on how MySSSC is working for them, what aspects of MySSSC is making managing the registration of workers easier and to find out about the areas of MySSSC we could enhance.

SSSC acronym logo - colourUsing your feedback we’ve made some changes and we recently held workshops to find out if these improvements have made a difference.  We also used the opportunity to demonstrate some of the key functions available on MySSSC for employers and share good practise about using MySSSC to manage the registration of their workers.

The feedback from the events was very positive.  Employers are using MySSSC far more frequently and finding this a useful tool to manage the registration of their workers and they were able to share their experiences with others.

Some employers were surprised to hear that, since launching MySSSC two years ago, there are now over 93,000 users, ranging from employers and universities to registered workers and people applying for registration for the first time. Over 95% of all applications and renewals are submitted using MySSSC and approximately 1,200 change of details are submitted every week.

For people who are less confident using online services we are working on ways to improve our guidance. At the recent events employers said our new guidance video would be a useful tool to help them and their workers use and understand MySSSC’s features.
