A new campaign which focuses on the benefits of part-time education was launched today.
#LovePartTime, led by The Open University and supported by a variety of organisations across Scotland and the UK, is asking part-time students past and present to tell the world why they love part-time study and why it works for them. The social media campaign has already seen more than three million impressions across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other channels.
Part-time education matters because it allows students to fit their learning around their lives, taking into account other responsibilities like caring, work or family. It lets people earn while they learn and brings benefits to individuals, families, communities and the wider economy.
Flexible, supported learning can also bring important opportunities for carers across Scotland.
If you’re a part-time learner and you’d like to get involved in the campaign, check out The Open University in Scotland on Twitter or just dive right in with the hashtag #LovePartTime.
