We are making our learning resources freely available as Open Educational Resources (OER) so they are more readily available for organisations to use for their learning development needs.
OER are any type of learning materials that are in the public domain or introduced with an open license, like Creative Commons, which means anyone can legally and freely copy, use, adapt and re-share them.
Our OER are MS Word versions of our learning apps and websites that also include guidance on how to reuse the content.
We currently have five OER available and hope to add more in future:
- adult support and protection
- communication and relationships
- health and safety
- maintaining your ongoing learning and development
- principles of care.
Anyone can use our OER and they will be of particular interest to those delivering development or supervision to social services staff, including trainers, lecturers, managers and supervisors.
