An inclusive Christmas

Churches Action for the Homeless (CATH) is a local charity which supports, encourages and promotes the development and delivery of projects to relieve homelessness and poor housing, improve the conditions of life and generally aid the development of people who are homeless in the Perth and Kinross Council area.

????????????????????????????Every person using the service this Christmas will receive a Christmas card and a £10 shopping voucher of choice. This Christmas gift is always well received and appreciated by their service users. This is sometimes the only gift they will receive and offers feelings of inclusion for them.

Mark McCartin, Senior Support Worker said:

“This Christmas we will be welcoming our service users to a free Christmas day lunch at our daycentre, with transport provided. This offer of inclusion and community will bring much needed warmth and interaction to our service user’s day.”

“We also will give our service users relevant information for the festive period, such as a booklet of services available, help to access food hampers and staff from CATH will be on duty to offer a choice of support (a visit or by telephone) throughout this period.”
