The Scottish Government has published an analysis of responses to the discussion paper on early learning and child care delivery model trials.Â
The discussion paper was designed to support the expansion of early learning and child care to 1,140 hours per year by the end of the current Parliament. It sought views of stakeholders and partners on the scope and design of the trials, as well as inviting suggestions for themes and areas to cover.
A summary of views on each discussion question is in the analysis, with implications for the trials highlighted in each section. The Scottish Government will use this feedback to finalise the role of a delivery partner to coordinate and manage the implementation of the trials, which start in January 2017.
