Achieving best outcomes for survivors: trauma training survey

The Scottish Government has commissioned NHS Education for Scotland (NES) to develop a National Training Framework for Trauma and Complex Trauma.

The Scottish GovernmentThe framework will support the learning and training plans of staff and organisations providing general and specialist services to adults and children affected by abuse, neglect and other forms of trauma.

The framework aims to support staff to build on existing expertise, provide effective and accessible care, support and interventions to people who have experienced trauma and abuse in their lives.

The first stage in this process is to understand the current level of training and qualifications relevant to working with survivors. To do that, NES would like people who have an overview of the training and education carried out by staff within your service or team to give your views to allow them to understand the type of education and training carried out by staff in different settings and also areas of training need.
