Achieving best outcomes for survivors: trauma training framework consultation

The Scottish Government has commissioned NHS Education for Scotland (NES) to develop a National Training Framework for Trauma and Complex Trauma.

NES is holding a consultation event on 17 January in Edinburgh on the content of the framework which will support the learning and training plans of staff and organisations providing general and specialist services to adults and children affected by abuse, neglect and other forms of trauma.

The framework aims to support staff to build on existing expertise, provide effective and accessible care, support and interventions to people who have experienced trauma and abuse in their lives.
