We will be hosting a workshop on Using digital learning to develop a flexible workforce at the European Social Services Conference in Malta this June. The workshop is in partnership with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
Keith Quinn, Learning and Development Manager of our Digital Learning Team, will talk about the approaches we’ve taken to support the ongoing learning and development needs of social service workers and promote workforce flexibility using digital learning.
The workshop will explore how digital learning can help address shrinking learning and development budgets, inefficiencies in traditional approaches to learning and development, access to technology and the e-readiness of staff.
It will give participants an insight into evidence-based approaches to designing and delivering digital learning and the support and services which enable social service employers to maximise its benefits. It will also highlight opportunities to meet the needs of informal carers when designing resources.
The conference Transforming lives through innovation and technology takes place in Valletta, Malta from 26 to 28 June 2017.
