Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their valuable work in volunteering, in the community or within their career?
Why not consider nominating them for a UK Honour?
If you know someone who has gone the extra mile over and above their day job, they can be considered.
Perhaps they’ve demonstrated innovation and entrepreneurship or philanthropy. Their fundraising efforts have had a positive effect in their local community or they’ve achieved great things against the odds. Any and all of these are things that can be considered.
Has your nominee got what it takes to make it all the way?
Has your nominee:
- made a positive difference to their community or field of work?
- improved the life of those less able to help themselves?
- gone the extra mile over and above their day job?
- made a sustained voluntary or charitable commitment?
The closing date for the 2019 New Year Honours is the end of February 2018 and this year the Scottish Government is particularly keen to get representation from more ethnic, disabled or female candidates for all levels.
