We have designed two leadership feedback tools to help health and social care professionals reflect on their leadership capabilities, and identify their strengths and areas for development.
The two tools, one for managers and one for frontline workers, use 360 assessment, which is a process that allows you to rate your own performance as a leader and ask people who know you well in a work capacity to rate your performance too. Feedback from a number of people builds a richer and more complete picture compared to what you’d gain from an individual.
To use either of the feedback tools, you’ll need to create an account and begin your self-assessment. Once you’ve completed your self-assessment you’ll click on the feedback button to invite others who know you in a work capacity to give feedback on your performance. Guidance on how to use each tool is provided throughout the process.
The frontline worker’s tool is available here.
The manager’s tool is available here.
The tools are hosted on the NHS platform but are available to all social service workers.
