We’ve secured another year of funding from the Scottish Government for our Leadership for Integration programme which is open to all social service staff.
Leadership for Integration is a partnership with NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (Scotland) which supports the development of leadership capabilities necessary for achieving the vision of health and social care integration in Scotland. There are two strands to the programme.
- You as a Collaborative Leader
- Collaborative Leadership in Practice.
You as a Collaborative Leader
This four-month programme is aimed at individuals and includes two workshops and three one-to-one coaching sessions. It’s based on live issues from participants to make the learning personal and relevant. You will learn about focused development to enhance understanding of personal leadership capabilities, strengths, and sources of resilience and how to use this awareness to recognise these in others and lead collaboratively.
To apply for the You as a Collaborative Leader programme you must submit your application by Friday 7 September 2018.
Collaborative Leadership in Practice
This six-month programme focuses on group coaching and facilitation to develop positive group dynamics among primary health and social care professionals in localities. You’ll develop collaborative leadership practices for effective integrated care and get the opportunity to work collaboratively on a live issue in the partnership, enhancing leadership capabilities and ways of working as an integrated team.
