Winners of Scotland’s Dementia Awards 2018 have been revealed to mark World Alzheimer’s Day, following a ceremony at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel.
Scotland’s Dementia Awards showcase the creativity, innovation and dedication that make a real difference to the daily lives of people with dementia and their families across Scotland when organisations, groups and teams work together.
Scotland’s Dementia Awards, a partnership between Alzheimer Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland and the SSSC, sets out to celebrate the inspirational achievements of those making a difference to the lives of people living with dementia and their families.
The Awards feature the following five categories: Dementia Friendly Community Initiative, Community Support Initiative, Educational Initiative, Hospital Care Initiative and Most Innovative Partnership.
