NHS Education for Scotland (NES) has announced their free resources to health and care staff via The Knowledge Network will continue to be available from April 2019.
About The Knowledge Network
The Knowledge Network is the national online information service for health and social care in Scotland. It is provided by NES Knowledge Services.
The Knowledge Network’s Library Search can be used to find books, ebooks, journals, ejournals and articles. Other subscription services include evidence summaries and databases.
No password is required to visit The Knowledge Network, but an NHS Scotland OpenAthens username and password are needed to access subscription resources.
The Knowledge Network also hosts specialist online resources.
Social Services Knowledge Scotland (SSKS)
SSKS is a website and digital library dedicated to social services in Scotland. It is a gateway to information and learning materials to support practitioners in day to day work and in learning.
Point of Care resources
Point of Care resources help clinicians to find, share and apply evidence to practice to help deliver the best quality patient care. It aims to equip NHS Scotland with the knowledge and tools to deliver a world class health service and facilitate change in practice at the frontline.
Health Management Online
Health Management Online is provided by the Health Management Library and supports all those working in the management, planning, policy, and development of healthcare in Scotland.
