NHS Education for Scotland, 102 West Port

About the event

This seminar delivered by NHS Education for Scotland (NES) Psychological Interventions Team is for third sector social service and health staff to reflect on and discuss the strengths and challenges of the delivery of evidence-based psychological approaches for mental health problems. Examples include psychological therapies or interventions.

The seminar will explore the variety of sources of evidence that contribute to understanding the effectiveness of different psychological approaches to mental health problems.

The seminar will encourage participants to reflect on how their own organisations provide different psychological approaches with a view to maximising their effectiveness based on the evidence.

Who should attend?

Staff working in third sector organisations across Scotland who are involved in supporting recovery and promoting psychological wellbeing of the people they work with. Staff who are involved in the strategic delivery of psychological support in their organisations are particularly encouraged.
